CASMI’s method of outreach is through sewing and creative workshops. We have watched God use sewing and craft workshops as a great opportunity to build a relationship - giving opportunity to share God’s truth.

Our prayer is that this will inspire many to be more intentional with your gifts and turn creativity into an opportunity to share the gospel and encourage people with God’s word. If you have new ideas that God has given to you we would love to hear from you.
Some of the favorite workshops and special moments that we have found effective with orphans in Russia and Africa are:
- Hats, PJ pants, simple vests, purses, slippers, jackets, ponchos.
- Letting them be involved in making a gift that they can keep is amazing.
- Sewing allows you to touch them as they sew and you teach - an amazing blessing for all.
CASMI does not provide the actual patterns however, we do have some great pattern suggestions as well as some we have created ourselves if you need suggestions. Please contact us if you need help in this area.
