If you are a seamstress and would like to use your sewing skills to bless children we could use your help. This sewing need is something that you can do year around.
Currently we are praying for 400 sleepers for this baby house in Russia. Mission teams will deliver them personally in November of 2007 and March 2008. Thank you and God Bless you!

Butterick pattern 5896 Please note that the only thing that has been requested from this pattern for the babies in Russia is the romper with feet! ROMPER F – No hats please – they will not use them.

Russian caregivers are very clear about what they
will use and what they won’t use. Our sewing gifts are created with their instructions in mind and are not based on what we would do in the US or Canada. Please call or email us if you have any questions.
- ONLY SIZES NEEDED ARE SMALL AND MEDIUM
- Current needs = 200 mediums and 200 smalls
- COTTON FLANNEL ONLY (will only use natural fibers)
- WITH OR WITHOUT GRIPPER SNAPS IN CROTCH
If you want to bless them and add the snap tape or put snaps
In for easier changing this is wonderful, however the sleepers they get from the Russian government do not have snaps so they will be happy to just have enough to change the babies when they are wet.
- ALL SLEEPERS ARE WASHED IN HEAVY BLEACH SO STAY AWAY FROM DARK COLORS – THEY LIKE BRIGHT AND COLORFUL!
(This sleeper takes aout 1-1 ½ hours to make depending on your skills)
